Bishop blesses new church facilities

THE Bishop of Ramsbury blessed the new facilities at St John the Baptist Church in Hindon at the weekend. Bishop Edward Condry blessed the new kitchen and toilets as part of a larger project to make greater use of the church for the benefit of the village.
The project was partly funded by a Landfill Communities Fund (LCF) grant from the Hills Group Ltd administered through Community First, the community council for Wiltshire.
It was also funded by a legacy from the estate of Heather Bull from Hindon and donations from The Friends of Hindon Church as well as several anonymous donors.
