THE Victoria and Albert pub in Netherhampton has reached the last sixteen in the Campaign for Real Ale’s national pub of the year competition, Hobnob hears.
It’s the first time the pub has reached this stage since being voted Salisbury and South Wilts CAMRA pub of the year in 2005 and 2007. The contest looks for quality beer and good value, a good atmosphere and a friendly and efficient welcome.
The pub was also recently named Wessex and Channel Islands Regional Pub of the Year.
