Charity ball for Lucy's Days Out

PEOPLE are being asked to put on their glad rags and get in the festive spirit for a charity Christmas Ball.

Wiltshire Society magazine’s Christmas Ball, on November 24 at the Milford Hall Hotel, will raise money for Lucy’s Days Out, Salisbury Newspapers’ and Salisbury & District Chamber of Commerce’s charity of the year.

The charity was founded in 2010, to fulfil the final wish of 12-year-old Lucy Page, who wanted her parents to set up a charity providing trips and treats for sick children in her memory.

The festive extravaganza will include a reception and welcome drink, a three-course dinner, MC and cabaret from Jan Jack and then dancing with Dusk 2 Dawn.

Barry Diaper will be drawing caricatures of guests, and there will be the chance to win some great prizes with fun charity games and a raffle.

The evening starts at 7pm. The dress code is black tie and tickets are £60.

For more information or to book tickets, call Lucy’s Days Out on 01722 426535.
