Woman dies following A36 crash

A WOMAN has died from her injuries following a crash on the A36 at Deptford on Wednesday.

A white Citroën Berlingo van was in collision with a blue Audi A3 at the junction of the A36 and A303.

The passenger of the Audi, a 24-year-old woman, was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol with serious injuries and she died there on Saturday.

The driver was treated at Salisbury District Hospital for minor injuries and the van driver was uninjured.

The A36 was closed between Deptford and Steeple Langford for six hours while police examined the scene.

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses to contact the serious collision investigation team on 101.
