ARCHIE Gray is the toast of the Little PUMA TaeKwon Do School after successfully earning his black belt at the tender age of just six.

Archie, who lives in Salisbury, started training just over two years ago at the South Hills School After School Club.

Now, he trains at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre in Salisbury, and his determination to be successful paid off when he achieved all eight grades to get the coveted black belt.

His chief instructor, Rachel Houston, said: "It is a great achievement for one so young."

PUMA TaeKwon student, Nicole Jarvis, is also celebrating after returning from the ITF World Championships in Birmingham after being picked to compete for the UK.

She competed in three events, patterns, sparring and destruction, and narrowly missed out on a bronze medal, taking the current and three-times world champion into extra time.
