British tour car event in Salisbury

A SALISBURY fast fit centre is inviting everyone to meet some stars of the British Touring Car Championship at a fast and furious free event on Thursday.

HiQ, based in Southampton Road, will welcome some of the nation's finest drivers at a one-off motorsport forum, to celebrate the company's sponsorship of the racing series.

The company is hosting the evening of thrills and spills from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, which will give fans the chance to meet their racing heroes and enter a draw for free tickets ahead of the latest round at Thruxton on Sunday.

The event is completely free, with all visitors receiving complimentary food and drink during the evening.

The high octane entertainment will feature appearances from some of the leading touring car drivers, who will give onlookers an insight into the world of competitive motor sport.

The motorsport forum is only the fourth one to ever take place, following events at Grays, Peterborough and Nottingham.
