Mobile phone operator Hutchison 3G has lodged an appeal against Hertsmere Borough Council's refusal of planning permission for a 50ft mobile phone mast to be erected at Lyndhurst Farm, in Green Street, Borehamwood.
The council felt that the proposed mast would look out of place in Green Belt countryside.
The proposed mast would look like a dead tree, but the council said it would still be out of place in the Green Belt.
