SALISBURY City will be hoping the rain doesn’t prevent tomorrow’s derby showdown with local rivals Eastleigh from taking place at the Ray Mac (3pm).
The Whites have had a frustrating Christmas, being out of action since the Eastbourne triumph on December 15 because of flooded pitches across the south.
A win, will not only protect the leaders’ unbeaten run at home, but will provide them with a comfortable cushion as they enter the New Year. The Boxing Day meeting between the two sides, which got postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, has been rescheduled for February 12 (7:45pm), while the Truro match will be played on January 15 (7:45pm).
Before those dates, Salisbury welcome Sutton United to Old Sarum on Saturday (3pm) and then face neighbours Bemerton Heath Harlequins on Monday night (7:45pm) in the Hospital Cup first round.
