DEBUTANT Rob Sinclair helped the Conference South leaders come from behind to complete an impressive fightback at the Ray Mac.
The Whites created an uphill challenge, after conceding to Pierre Joseph-Dubois’ rocket finish in the 46th minute.
But instead, the Whites redeemed themselves. Jamie White blitzed home an equaliser on the 70th minute, which geed up the crowd, and debutant Robbie Sinclair, a fans favourite, looped the Whites into a 2-1 lead ten minutes later. Then the triumph was complete thanks to Elliott Frear’s deflected effort.
The howling wind made it difficult for both sides to play their game on the deck, but that didn’t stop the league’s player of the month, White, from testing the Bromley defence inside 16 seconds.
But it was the visitors who got the upper hand on the stroke of half-time. Danny Waldren’s cross was confidently dispatched into the roof of the net by Joseph-Dubois.
A much-need improvement was needed in the second-half by Darrell Clarke’s troops, and they stood up to the test.
Firstly, White snapped up the equaliser with a close-range strike, before Sinclair, who turned down a switch to Conference Premier side Macclesfield to join Clarke’s men, put his side ahead with a wonderful finish.
Then in the 82nd minute, Frear’s strike tumbled off a Bromley full-back and nestled into the bottom corner, to register the Whites’ 12th league win at Old Sarum and keep the Whites six points clear at the summit.
