Salisbury Stingrays' swimmers welcome their new coach to the pool
SALISBURY Stingrays have welcomed on board an award-winning coach.
Mark Corben, 28, who was named South West Young Coach of the Year in 2011, joined the FiveRivers Leisure Centre-based club earlier this month.
The head coach has been appointed on a full-time basis, bringing his experience from Fareham Nomads and other swimming clubs to the poolside.
He said: “I’m absolutely loving it.
“I was offered such a good opportunity and I took it with both hands. “It’s certainly a demanding job but I love it. I can definitely see a long-term future here.” For more information about the club visit salisburystingrays.co.uk or call Corben on 07788 772899.
