Phil finds form against world champions

Salisbury Journal: Phil finds form against world champions Phil finds form against world champions

SALISBURY Stingrays swimmer Phil Muspratt was among some sterling talent on offer at the South West Regional Short Course Championships.

Muspratt, single-handedly representing the city, took to the pool at Millfield against world and junior champions, Team GB stars, and high-profile club swimmers.

A strong finish in the 50m freestyle heats from Muspratt boded well for the final but finishing behind Ben Proud, Anthony James and GB youth international Aaron Rickhuss meant Muspratt dipped out on a medal by one slot, recording a time of 23.37 seconds.
