JAMES Bittner kept a clean sheet for Salisbury City when Kidderminster Harriers last visited the Ray Mac in their 1-0 victory, and he could re-appear depending on the state of Will Puddy’s injury.

Bittner, who helped the Whites to victory in 2009, could replace Puddy for a second start on Saturday after the number one goalkeeper limped off at Wrexham with a reoccurring calf strain.

“Bittner is a great keeper and was regarded as one of the best in this division,” head coach Mikey Harris said.

“He has stepped up to the plate in terms of his coaching role but hasn’t had as much game time as he would have liked. I’m very fortunate to have two very good keepers.”

Joe Lolley’s hat-trick completed a three nil victory over Salisbury in the reverse fixture and still remain strong contenders to reach the play-offs again.

Harris added: “Kidderminster are a big football club and travel well.”

“They are a strong team who have had a couple of managerial changes recently.

They were one of the fancied teams do well this season after missing out on promotion last year.

They have a good squad and a good group of people. They took us to the sword at their place and we need to make sure we are on our game and get a positive result.”
