POPULAR Freddy Axton said his farewells to West Harnham under 12s during their 6-2 rout over Barton Stacey in the Testway League.

Freddy, who’s moving with his family to the West Country, signed off his two-year stint at Harnham with a goal to cap a memorable day in which he was presented with a signed match ball from his teammates.

Joining Axton on the score sheet was hat-trick hero Ed Stagg, Louis Smith and Olly Bayliss.

Titans under 11s fired 11 goals past Porton in a rare double header. The first game finished 5-0 which was followed by a 6-0 thumping after a speedy turn around.

Alderbury under 13s got back to winning ways after defeating Trowbridge 15-2 away at Lambrook Park.

A perfect five from Ryan Payne, Harry Schneider’s hattrick, Charlie Turner’s double and one each from Harry Iles, Harry Langstaff, Ryan Sartain, Brad Chalke, and a first league goal for Cameron Maple, who is usually seen in goal, completed the goals galore day out.

A top-of-the-table clash in Testway League Division 2 was won by Clarendon Juniors under 16s who lifted the title once they had seen off rivals Fordingbridge Town 4- 2.

Harvey Fortis, Tom Jeanes, Sam Arnold and Leon Smith netted on the championship winning day.
