BEMERTON Heath Harlequins’ storming end to the season finished with a clean sheet and goals from Jack Slade and Kane O’Keefe.
The attacking players picked up a 2-0 win at Folland Sports to end with 71 points and will stay in seventh spot providing AFC Portchester, on 70, lose to Wessex Premier champions Sholing in a rearranged clash on Saturday.
Meanwhile, deflated Downton closed their Premier account with a 28th defeat at home to Blackfield & Langley. Declan McGregor struck for the hosts but a double from Craig Feeney and Martin Warren proved too much for the Robins, who are waiting for confirmation on whether they’ve been relegated.
