A SOCCER school for budding juniors, which boasts ex- Salisbury City manager Nick Holmes as its ambassador, has launched in Salisbury.
South Wiltshire Soccer School, an independent academy created by Tom Welch, who has featured heavily in youth football over the last several years, is aimed at boys aged between six and 16 years old.
Trials at Five Rivers Leisure Centre started last week with more set to be held next week.
The soccer school will feature five coaches covering the age groups, with the boys training twice a week and playing in the Junior Premier League on Saturdays, with some of the age groups also featuring in Sunday football.
Holmes said: āIām thrilled to be involved with considered and well thought concepts that the soccer school will bring to that development.ā
