BEN Draper took a break from the GSCE revision books to smash a maiden Hampshire League century for South Wilts thirds at Steep.
The 15-year-old, who is the son of former Calmore Sports and South Wilts all-rounder Paul Draper, carried his bat through the South Wilts innings, bringing up his 100 - which included two sixes and 12 fours - in the 45th over.
He shared an important partnership with Jon Burton (40) as South Wilts reached 208-6.
Steep began well, but a three-wicket spell by another teenager, Mike Cutts (3-28) turned the tide.
Teenage off-spinner Tom Lewis and skipper Steve Kidd took three wickets each as Steep were dismissed for 172.
