SCOTT Joyce, pictured right, netted his third goal in five games to reserve Bemerton Heath Harlequins’ spot in the next stage of the FA Cup.

The new marksman, who joined from Bashley, fired home a solitary winner after good work from Jack Slade and Ollie Roe to knock out Western Way visitors Totton & Eling.

The extra preliminary win has rewarded Harlequins with a home tie against Bournemouth Poppies.

Harlequins were thrashed in Wessex Premier League on Tuesday night as league hot shots Blackfield and Langley blasted four past them.

And adding to that, Ian Chalk’s team have said farewell to Seb Dawes – who has finished football to take up 800m running – Joe Sanger, Kane O’Keefe, Danny Young and Tyler Brockway.

They have, however, bolstered their squad with the addition of former Downton FC central defender Matt Palmer.

Heath search for their second league win when they visit Moneyfields tomorrow night (7.45pm).
