ROOKIE cricketer Will Wade, pictured above left, topped the honours list at the Wiltshire Annual Junior Awards, which was a superb night for South Wilts’ colts.
The Wiltshire and South Wilts under 15 skipper had a fantastic season for the county, topping both the under 15 and under 17 run charts. For the under 15s, he notched up 436 runs from his seven innings at an average of 62.28, including two half centuries and as many centuries. And for the under 17s, he made 408 runs with three 50s and another ton.
Will collected his award from former winner Tom Alsop, who played for England under 19s and made his full debut for Hampshire this season. Will also scooped the under 15s trophy.
