OLLIE Pidgley completed his maiden car racing season with a respectable sixth place finish in the Michelin Clio Cup Race Series.
The Downton driver, a former pupil of Trafalgar School, finished the season on 171 points after wheeling his way to a fourth and sixth finish in Sunday’s races at the Croft Circuit, north Yorkshire.
“The weekend in general has been good,” the 17-yearold Team Pyro Driver reflected.
“Ending the season sixth in the championship is great, which was our target coming into Croft and we’ve won seven out of 12 in our class, too, so I’m really happy with that.”
