RELEGATED Salisbury Hockey Club Men’s first team begin their hockey campaign on Saturday with a game against Winchester seconds at Bemerton (1pm).
The Lower Bemerton club are looking to bounce back following relegation from Hampshire Division 1 last time out.
They rounded off their preseason warm-up matches with a ten-goal feast against Wimborne Wayfarers, which ended in a 5-5 share of the spoils.
Max Grossmith grabbed a hat-trick, alongside single strikes from Alfie Jones and a penalty flick from Rory McTaggart, who will skipper Salisbury this season.
The Ladies, who are adjusting to life in West Clubs Women’s Premier Division after promotion, will be looking for a win following defeat in their opening two games.
They narrowly lost 4-3 against Bournemouth on Saturday and will now face a Bath Buccaneers team that is unbeaten in the league so far this season.
