THE Salisbury paintball team has continued their run of success this summer by attaining a ranking inside the top 100 clubs in Europe.

Nicknamed the Cardinals, they finished fifth in division three of a major UK national league, which would have been higher had the team not been bumped up a division due to a shortage of sides.

They have secured the top spot in Division One of the Southern Paintballing League, which is held over five months in London.

The club is semi-professional and have just started the defence of their 2013 London Winter League title and are currently in first place after one of three rounds.

Team member Richard Southgate said: “The club has enjoyed great success and achievements this year, so far netting 25 trophies, with still two more months worth of competitions left this year.”
