AVID Sarum Orienteering Club members were challenged in a colourful inter-club competition at a forest country park.
South West Orienteering Association clubs from the Galoppen League, who regularly compete in a series of colour-coded events, saw Sarum’s competitors put in first-rate performances at Moors Valley.
Ben Chesters was second on the tough brown course, while Paul Lane was third on the blue course.
Alex Buck (M16) had an excellent fifth place on the blue course, competing well against older competitors.
On the green course, Martin Goddard and Gwyn Davis were second and ninth, respectively.
Peter Hambleton was runner-up on the short green course.
Hazel Cutler (W18) had another good run to take third place on the light green course and Adrian Dawson was third on the orange course.
