A RULE-FREE championship, combining unorthodox methods and fun-filled golf, created huge enjoyment at Rushmore Golf Club on New Year’s Eve.
The yearly cheaters’ championship, which follows unorthodox patterns of players kicking and throwing the ball several times and shouting at opponents playing shots, was played by a field containing 48 golfers.
Mike Knott was the champion with a staggering 50 points.
Three points behind Knott, in second place, was Peter Bates, followed by Ken Kearley in third.
