FC Salisbury United registered a hard-fought victory to mark a good start in the FA Futsal Cup at Swindon.
Despite being reduced to six players due to injuries and unavailabilities, United defeated Franklin College in mini league group six.
Within 11 seconds, Seb Dawes put them ahead, with additional goals from Chema Marti, Russ Parsons and Shaun Prentice, allowing the home side to lead 4-3 at half time.
Salisbury started extremely well in the second half with Phil Berntsen getting on the score sheet.
All the outfield players added to the goal tally to stretch the score to 11-4.
Franklin introduced a quartet of fresh legs and managed to claw four goals back but it finished 11-8 to Salisbury.
The side, which play home games at Chafyn Grove School, continue their FA Cup adventure on Sunday with a trip to north London to play Fourstar FC.
