SALISBURY Hockey firsts boosted their title push with a thumping 4-0 rout over rock-bottom Gosport.
Rory MacTaggart’s men coasted to victory in Hampshire – against a side who have won once this season – to be within three points of leaders Andover and a point behind second-placed Haslemere.
Jaghjit Marwaha opened the scoring before the break and goals after the resumption from Tom Morton, Nick Easterbrook and Mark Dunne made it four wins from four.
Salisbury go to Trojans seconds on Saturday.
