A VILLAGE tennis club is holding a day full of ace activities next month.

Downton Tennis Club, pictured, on Wick Lane, is welcoming tennis enthusiasts to meet club members and coaches, as well as using the courts provided.

Newcomers can take part in adult and junior mix-ins, coaching drills, a ball machine and a speed gun test which registers the speed of your serve. There will also be homemade cakes.

All ages and abilities are welcome on Saturday, April 25 between 2pm and 4pm.
