DOWNTON shocked high-flying Tadley Calleva with a stunning 2-0 victory on Saturday.
Declan McGregor burst forward and scored a well-worked opener after the Robins weathered the first 10 minutes.
The second half started with a change for Downton, with 17-year-old Sam Howe replacing injured Ross Bentall, who was instrumental in the opening goal.
Howe worked tirelessly for his team and was part of the second goal scored by Lyndon Taylor.
This was a well-worked move, this time orchestrated by the tireless Craig Tyson with a crisp finish from Taylor.
McGregor pounced again for Robins on Tuesday night to secure a single-goal win at home to Hythe & Dibden.
