GARETH Horner has managed to retain the same side that were Division One title-challengers last season.

His Amesbury Town side is pretty much identical to the one that secured its highest ever finish in 2014/15.

The likes of Tyler Brockway, Danny Finnigan, Craig Wheeler and Connor Palmer will represent the Blues next season. The only player yet to sign is Eddie Perrett, who is still on-going trials with Salisbury FC.

Meanwhile, new arrivals at Bonnymead Park are Max Donohue and Josh Thomas.

The sturdy team, being run by newly-appointed assistant manager Rob Scott while Horner's on holiday, beat Southern League opposition on Saturday.

Danny Finnigan struck twice in the last ten minutes as the Blues defeated Bashley 2-0.

Christian Cox played in the skipper for the first before he slammed home Brockway's parried effort.
