KATY Cutler, pictured, was her side’s leading goal scorer at a waterpolo tournament.
As the youngest player, Katy bagged a hat trick for Southampton Sirens BWPL Ladies team in a 10-7 victory over Sunderland at Ponds Forge in Sheffield this past weekend.
Next up for the Sirens was a tough match against last year’s division two team Liverpool Water Beatles, in which they lost 10-2.
And in their closer, the game was decided in the last two minutes of play when Birmingham took the lead.
A feed in from Katy, a pupil at South Wilts, in the closing seconds of the game gave Sirens a chance at equalising but they failed to capitalise and Birmingham finished victorious – 11-10.
Sirens finished in fourth place.
