WILTSHIRE Council pledges to support roving sport stars through its grant initiative.
The council is working in partnership with local businesses for the Funding Future Olympians and Paralympians Elite Athlete grant, which is now in its fifth year.
Since the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Wiltshire Council has supported 48 individuals by providing them with grants of £1,000.
These grants have enabled rising sports stars to purchase equipment, access training and competitions and cover transport costs to regional, national and international events.
Sportspeople who compete at a national level or above, which is recognised by Sport England, are invited to apply.
