A NEWLY-FORMED football club in Verwood will appear in style after being handed a brand new strip.

Rossgarth Youth FC, who formed a second under 9s' side due to the influx of youngsters wishing to play, have been sponsored by Electric Center.

The team - Rossgarth Potters - have already started playing their first non-competitive season in the New Forest League.

And the original side has also been boosted, with an away kit thanks to JPS Communications.

Kieran Mullen, who formed the Potters, said: “The kits were presented to us by Electric Center and JPS Communications at one of our training sessions last weekend. The delight from the children in receiving and playing in their new kit was great to see and made them look the part!

"Having the support of our local businesses is key to the development of the local youth football and it was great to see the delight the new kit brought to the players' faces.”

Rossgarth Youth has more than 280 children across their teams from ages five to 18 years old.
