Gary Topley hands over the cheque to Claire Brown
A SPONSORED weightlifting competition raised £3,560 towards life-changing treatment a Salisbury Hospital technician needs.
Macho men took on the 1,500 tonne challenge for the Claire Brown Neurological Fund.
She needs £50,000 for 15-weeks at Glenside, a rehabilitation centre in South Newton which provides specialist treatment for people with brain injuries.
Organiser of the event, Gary Topley, presented the cheque to Claire at Hox Brasserie.
