VICTORIES in the County Cup and Wiltshire Youth League marked a top week for South Wilts Under 13s.

The long trip to Goatacre on a Wednesday evening for the quarter-final of the County section of the ECB Natwest U13 Championship was rewarded with a commanding win. Ed Wade, Ben Higton and George Milton all retired on 30s as the visitors posted 176-4.

Then on league duty, South Wilts were made to work hard for their win by Steeple Langford. Without several key players, the hosts' strength in depth was tested by a terrific performance by the visitors.

South Wilts Under 11s continued their impressive start with another comprehensive win, this time over Cannings/Potterne.

Cameron Young starred with the bat hitting 50 retired as his side totalled 102-4 off their 20 overs. Tom Connolly and Zach Bird each took two wickets as the visitors struggled to 64-6.
