NEWLY-PROMOTED Amesbury Town get their Sydenhams Wessex Premier League campaign up-and-running away at Whitchurch United on Wednesday (7.45pm) - but they could be without star striker Danny Finnigan.
The Blues, who won automatic promotion from Division One, embark on their journey under new boss Jim Macey, who has replaced Gareth Horner.
And netbuster Finnigan, who was Amesbury’s top scorer last season with 28 goals, could be absent as he’s currently trialling with Southern League outfit Salisbury FC.
Graham Kemp will start his second full season in charge of Bemerton Heath Harlequins with the visit of Brockenhurst on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
He will be looking for an improvement on last season’s ninth place finish.
In Division One, Laverstock and Ford entertain Pewsey Vale on Tuesday night, while Rae Hughes starts his tenure as Downton boss at home to Christchurch on Wednesday night (7.45pm).
Don’t miss next week’s supplement for the build up to the new 2016/17 season.
