A PAIR of Salisbury Tri Club members were in racing mode at the weekend.
Emma Wardall was in Republic of Ireland for the Ironman 70.3 and teammate David Hartley was racing in the Triathlon England South West Championships in Swanage.
After a 38.5k bide ride, 10k scenic run, 1,500m sea swim, Hartley crossed the line on two hours and 31 minutes.
For Wardall, she completed a 1.2m swim, a 56-mile bike ride - which was interrupted as only one gear worked due to a mechanical fault in the bike - and half marathon she finished in 5.01, coming second in age group.
