WILTON Bowls Club were victorious in the County Mixed Double Rink Final after defeating Avon A from Melksham.
Despite the heavy rain in Devizes over the three-hour duration of the match, Wilton won on both rinks 18-17 and 21-16.
The winning team includes Dawn Toomer, Lesley Trattles, Geoff Toomer and Mike Crane, Glenda Hibberd, Cathy Burrows, Ray Ansell and Peter Gurd.
A feature of this year’s finals was the amount of new faces appearing on finals weekend.
