BEMERTON Heath Harlequins crashed to back-to-back defeats in Sydenhams Wessex Premier following a 3-0 loss at rejuvenated Fareham Town.
The Creeksiders, who were bottom of the pile not long ago, have transformed under Pete Stiles.
And it showed at Cams Alders.
Simon Woods got the opening goal with the game just 15 minutes old. He got on the end of Jack Barker’s perfectly-weighted long pass before he lofted the ball coolly over Jason Collins.
Fareham doubled their lead on 71 minutes when substitute Curtis Robbins rose highest in the Bemerton penalty area to head home Josh Holmes’ free kick from the left wing.
And five minutes from time, the hosts wrapped up the game for good when Woods scored his second of the game. He pounced on a poor clearance from Collins before taking the ball round him and sliding the ball into an empty net from just outside the box.
Bemerton are back on the road on Saturday when they travel to Lymington (3pm).
