AMESBURY TOWN FC have appointed Gino Nardiello as their new chairman, following the departure of Steve Pearce who stepped down to allow this transition to go through.

Along with Nardiello, Robert Trim will replace vice chairman Spencer Mulholland, who is stepping down due to other commitments and Keith Noble will become the club’s new commercial manager.

The former Laverstock and Ford chairman spoke about his appointment and said: “We have all been away from football for the past four years or so but in all that time have never stopped looking for the right opportunity to return. However, it had to be with the right club and the right offer.”

Following promotion to the Wessex top-flight last summer, Amesbury stayed out of the bottom-three by the skin of their teeth, finishing above Fawley AFC on goal difference.
