DOWNTON FC have a new chairman, Mark Smith as well as new joint managers, Nigel Green and Ben Smith.
Mark has had already a small stint as chairman before when the club won the Wessex division 1 and topped the Wessex premier league for several months.
The club said that Mark will also help establish their youth teams and develop relations with the community & schools.
Green has a wealth of experience within the Wessex league, having recent spells with Whitchurch and Romsey Town, and Ben will act as player manager and Mark Gulliver will be assistant manager.
The Robins have already signed and retained their best players from last season as well as added some new players to the club.
The Robins have plenty of friendlies starting with Bournemouth Manor away on July, 13, Bashley away July 18, Bremhill Rangers away on July, 22 and home to Littlehampton FC on July, 29.
Ben Smith told JournalSport: “Im personally looking forward to the pre-season training side of things.
We have lots of very talented players and we need to get the most out of them if we want to succeed.
