JACOB Earle, Joseph Holme and Thomas Holme, three of CoSARC’s finest multi-eventers, travelled to Yeovil to represent Wiltshire in the South West Schools Combined Events Championships.

Earle achieved a PB in the 80m hurdles (14:07), while both Earle (8.51m) and Joseph Holme (7.96m) threw lifetime bests in the shot.

Joseph Holme jumped PBs in both the long jump (4.56m) and high jump (1.41m), while Earle (1.50m) also recorded his best in the latter.

Thomas Holme bagged PBs in the discus (18.34m) and javelin (25.32m).

CoSARC sent a number of teams and solo entrants to take part in Endure 24. They had to run as many five-mile laps of Wasing Park, Reading, as possible in a 24-hour period.

Exbury Gardens 10k was run on a warm but breezy morning. Racing in a field of 863 runners, Kieran McManus recorded a time of 44:38.

In the British Athletics Championships 1500m, Jaymee Domoney competed against a top-class field that included Olympians Josh Kerr and Jake Heyward.

Dave Gervais 19:09, Art Mitchell 19:41, Charlotte Ingram 19:47, Anna Patrickson 20:24 and George Sutton 20:38 all earned well-deserved PBs at Salisbury parkrun.

Mitchell did the double when he also achieved a PB at Churchill Gardens Junior parkrun in a time of 7:24.
