SALISBURY City may be forced to head to Bashley for this evening's friendly against the Southern League side with a depleted strike force.
Manager Nick Holmes said he was checking on the fitness of Robbie Matthews (thigh), Matt Tubbs (hip), Andy Sandell (ankle) and Liam Feeney (knee), who all suffered knocks during Saturday's friendly win at AFC Wimbledon, before naming his side for the trip to the New Forest.
"We might have to go without a recognised striker," said the City boss, who is already without the injured Rob Sinclair (knee).
"Robbie Matthews hurt his thigh, Andy Sandell and Matt Tubbs came off within five minutes of each other and although Liam Feeney finished the game at Wimbledon, he had a sore knee afterwards."
Sandell and Darrell Clarke were on target with second half goals in Saturday's game to secure a 2-1 scoreline.
