SALISBURY City have moved up to joint third in the Blue Square Premier table following this afternoon's 1-0 success against Grays Athletic.

It was Whites' first win of the new campaign at home and means they have amassed nine points from their opening quartet of matches - one more than they had at this stage last season.

Matt Tubbs' goal early in the second half proved the difference between the two sides.

Next up for Nick Holmes' outfit is a trip to Torquay United on Bank Holiday Monday.
