SALISBURY City made it three wins in a row, leapfrogging opponents Wrexham to go 16th in the Blue Square Premier on Saturday.
Ryan Tafazolli, signed on work experience from Southampton on Friday, made his debut in defence.
Stuart Anderson headed in a Luke Ruddick free kick in the ninth minute to give them the lead.
Matt Tubbs got his ninth of the season from Darrell Clarke's free kick nine minutes later.
Gareth Taylor pulled one back on 70 minutes but the Whites held on.
