CHALKE Valley came from a goal down to win the WC Stokes Cup final against Redlynch reserves at Bemerton last Thursday.

Redlynch took the league through Simon Harkness two minutes after the break, but this forced Valley into a change and substitute Wayne Parsons fired in from the edge of the box with his first touch on 51 minutes.

With extra time just four minutes away, Parsons grabbed his second to land the cup.

Last Tuesday, Stockton & Codford followed up their Wiltshire Junior Cup success by beating Porton Sports 2-0 in the Charity A Cup final at Downton.

The game was re-arranged after a waterlogged pitch put paid to the first attempt. On this occasion the pitch was dry enough for Mark Pluess and Sam Dufosee to claim a goal each.
