CITY of Salisbury’s Nick Willetts maintained his sequence of sustained improvement at the Romsey five-mile race on the Broadlands Estate at Romsey, crossing the line in 33min 9sec – another personal best.
Newcomer Lisa Calladine was the club’s next finisher in 36.56 and she was followed by Lee Perkes with 37.06, Rod Smith 42.49 and Anna Clissold 60.42.
Kathryn Dreyer was Salisbury’s only runner in the Long Valley 5k, Guildford, with hills, mud and freezing water. Not put off, Dreyer completed the course in a determined 56.07.
