EAST Knoyle’s Ben Stow added the European Nations Cup to his credentials after a successful venture with the England team.
The Rushmore Golf Club protégé demonstrated his talent as a top amateur by leading his national side to victory in Sotogrande, Spain.
The event was played in uncharacteristically windy conditions but Stow’s steady scoring saw him finish in sixth place, individually as the top placed Englishman.
This helped the team pip hosts Spain to the title by just one shot.
Stow has recently completed a four-year university degree in Kentucky and is back at his home roots in Rushmore - preparing for the forthcoming season.
