DINTON IIs pulled off their first win of the season, holding off Whiteparish II to secure a 25-run victory.
As in almost every game this season Dinton lost early wickets, finding themselves 17-2 in the fifth over but veteran Dave Roberts (55) helped push the home side to a defendable total of 165.
After tea with front-line bowlers in short supply the spin of Nick Gale was utilised early and he helped turn the screw, conceding just 12 runs from 10 overs.
With 12 overs left and 66 runs required it was in the balance but when skipper Rich Cridge removed the dangerous Malcom Noble the game was won.
