KEEN cricketers at Alderholt are looking to surge up the table in Regional Division Two (West).
So far, they've won one of their nine games, with their last match being played at Nomansland.
Put into bat by the hosts, Alderholt put up 247 for 5 thanks to openers Steve Willoughby (37) and Tom Morris (110) reaping the benefits at the picturesque ground.
It was Alderholt's first visit to the club, which formed in 1926, for over 20 years.
Although the visitors amassed a grand total, the day belonged to Nomansland who posted 248-1, thanks to Gary Loveless (120) and Sam Dempster (71).
Alderholt are back in action on Saturday with the visit to Beaulieu.
