WOODGREEN opener Laurence Harding is in good form Down Under, helping his adopted Australian club Royal Park Brunswick reach this weekend’s local Victorian Turf Association semi-finals.

Spending the winter in Melbourne’s outers after gaining an economics degree at Bath University, the 21-year-old made only one half-century before Christmas.

But since the turn of the year has been in good nick, making scores of 51, 48 and 36 before recently celebrating his maiden century on Australian soil, 115 against East Keilor.

Harding made 16 and then an unbeaten 23 as Royal Park won a low scoring two-innings affair against Deer Park to secure a semi-final visit to Point Cook this weekend.
