SALISBURY Hockey Club Ladies' firsts rounded off the season with a 2-0 victory over Redland UWE to finish second in West Premier Division 2A on 40 points.
Izzy Viant found the net early in the first half with an excellent strike after a perfectly-placed pass by Jenna Whittle.
Some excellent defending from Lyndsey Smith and Julie Selbie, coupled with several fantastic saves from goalkeeper Alana Mercer, ensured Salisbury kept their lead.
The Lower Bemerton outfit continued to dominate and the second goal came from a clever through pass from Miranda MacTaggart, who found Kerry Jackson at the top of the D.
Jackson played it wide of the post to Lily Jackson who made no mistake.
With only one promotion place, snapped up by champions Newent, Salisbury will feature in the same division next season.
